The BRT is a large powerful breed with an eagerness to learn and to please their human. They can be aloof and independent, yet want to be by your side most of the time. We call them Velcro!
The BRT is not for 90% of dog owners. They were breed to be a guard dog for the Russian Military as well as many other duties. They Bark First, then ask questions. They will get in between you and any potential threat. They are loving and affectionate. They require constant companionship, they are NOT to be left alone.
